Baseline Art Gallery started 3 years ago with the G&L Art collection. We highlight promising and creative talents in Hong Kong, giving them a chance to start their artistic career and get exposure. Baseline’s main business is to deliver lighting design state-of-art for luxury retail, high-end hospitality, but also art & event projects such as the Villepin Gallery or L’ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels. In the continuity of our mission, we are humbled to offer our office showroom for private exhibitions and invite our network to discover new artists and mingle with Hong Kong creative industries enthusiasts. Our ambition is to create a community of Art & Light lovers and encourage Artists’ collaboration in Retail and Hospitality industries.

We offer an immersive and unique sensory experience aligned with the theme of the artworks exhibited: a dedicated lighting display & control system application, a selected music playlist, perfume diffusion, and a selection of drinks & canapes. We also invite an NGO related to the exhibition’s subject to raise awareness around their mission. Exhibitions’ sponsors are welcome to promote their services and engage with our network. For us, it’s also a great opportunity to show our lighting capabilities and meet with new clients.

We are happy to promote every promising artist who is looking for more visibility. We will define together a specific theme and collection to create an immersive atmosphere. We offer them a place to express their talent, especially after the pandemic which affected the art industry. We are proud to witness their increasing popularity after the private exhibition we organized and the digital communication we shared. With Baseline’s network and new exposure, artists will be able to promote and sell their work to art collectors. The positive feedback we received from past exhibitions confirmed our position as Gallerist.

For each exhibition, we create digital communication content to easily share online. We will send out invitations and registration forms via email and WhatsApp to our database, magazines, artists’ connections, and our partners’ network. We display the artist’s biography and works on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram), and in our news section. All information regarding the past and current exhibitions can be found on this page, in the below carrousel. During the event, each work has its own QR code opening a unique landing page to provide information about artist’s inspiration. After the grand opening, we will also invite the public to visit the exhibition.
