Shirley graduated from Shanghai University with a bachelor’s degree in Automation, a technical grounding that carries into how she reads lighting systems today. She has spent more than 9 years in lighting design, specialising in commercial spaces, particularly retail environments where lighting has to support both merchandising and daily foot traffic without ever feeling engineered.

Across her career she has managed a wide range of lighting projects, developing lighting concepts and technical specifications that carry through from early design to final documentation.
