Baseline Lighting Design Studio is engaged to implement green approach in lighting design. Lighting Today Vol.1 2022 features our latest collaboration for the new Decathlon experience store, located in Singapore (Northshore Plaza 1), delivering eco-friendly initiatives, providing best practice lighting strategy in order to elevate customer’s experience, increase brand awareness and reduce power consumption.

Lighting is an integral part of architectural & design development as it creates the right atmosphere whether it is Hospitality or Retail. Baseline’s work is wide-ranging in terms of type and scale, they offer a vertical solution and extended scope of work following up projects from preliminary design to implementation to keep control for energy efficiency.

Certified LEED Green Associates, Baseline lighting experts are trained to comply with environmental lighting requirements (e.g., low wattage and high efficiency per square metre LPD<17.5w/m2). The studio is also EcoVadis Silver certified ensuring high CSR and designer team is trained on Revit software for BIM modelling.

During the opening, in October 2021, Decathlon Northshore Plaza 1 store received the Green Mark Certification in the presence of the Senior Minister of State of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Janil Puthucheary.

In addition of Baseline sustainable design approach, the two-storey store is offering eco initiative including donating old shoes, electronic for recycling and wide range of eco-designer production. It is also 100 percent cashless and paperless transaction.
